AIChE spring meeting 2027

The AIChE Spring Meeting and Global Congress on Process Safety is a key technical conference for chemical and process safety engineers, bringing together the industry to address current challenges across chemical engineering, process technology and safety. The programme covers a broad range of topics, including process intensification, Industry 4.0, energy transition, hydrogen safety, AI and the energy nexus, and refinery and petrochemical processing.

Lucas Poker, Delft University of Technology, has submitted the abstract “Flexible mechanical vapour recompression assisted distillation for e-methanol production”, which includes research carried out within EMPHATICaL. The work explores the use of flexible mechanical vapour recompression assisted distillation to support more energy efficient and flexible e-methanol production, contributing to EMPHATICaL’s work on advanced separation technologies.
